For my significant writing project, I chose my essay about the Student handbook and Scheuer and Ungar’s articles. For this assignment two articles, one by Jefferey Scheuer, “Critical thinking and the Liberal Arts”, and the other by David Ungar, “7 Major Misperceptions About the Liberal Arts”, talk about what exactly consists of Liberal arts majors. Moreover, throughout the essay, the main goal trying to be reached is to explain to the extent to which the articles by Scheuer and Ungar relate to the UNE core curriculum handbook.

I chose this project because I feel as if it portrays all of the skills that I have learned this year in English class. Also, I feel as if this paper is my most successful paper. I took the most amount of time on this essay compared to the others we have worked on this year. This essay is my best essay. My peers made suggestions on my paper which helped me fix up my mistakes a lot. Before the peer edits, I was concerned about my organization, grammar, and clarity on my thoughts.
