Eagle Observation #4

Eagle Observation #4

Monday, April 13, 2020 –> Windy, stormy, cloudy, and rainy, 59ºF

5:30 – Three half sized eagles stand in a ‘triangle’ on the nest, very bright colored feet

5:35 – The three eagles still stand on the nest, however they walk around and look around. They are curious

5:40 – The eldest eagle is scratching his back with his beak, his neck is turned all the way around 180º. One of the younger eagles is eating some sort of food. The food is barely recognizable, it is grey in color and about 1/4 of the size of the eagle eating it.

5:45 – The mother eagle just left the nest, now it is just the two younger birds. It turns out that that “food” that was so unrecognizable, was trash. How sad. Both birds sit still now with their heads down.

5:46 – End.
